Well our last NRA Minirifle Match for the year and we decided that now was the time to pull out all the stops and really show just how much we can do here at Silverstone Shooting Centre. Whilst we run the matches to a general IPSC rule book we decided that it was stupid to be slavish to it when we can do so much more and its fair to say everyone loved it.

40+ round stages up and downstairs the in the skills houses, shooting from within a parked car, zombie green light stages and everything in between, everyone had a great time and 12 stages shot in one day with nearly 300 rounds needed as a minimum (most people shot hearer 500!) it was a long but hugely enjoyable day.

As ever though someone has to win and it was Alex Mead on the say who stormed to victory closely followed by Lee Elliot and Waldek winning senior ahead of John and Russell Hicks, Craig Hamilton winning Super Senior and Oliver winning Junior. Everyone got a visit to the very generous prize table donated by Viper Tactical – these guys have some really excellent tactical kit that was very well received by the practical shooters.

Now our focus moves to the Practical Winter League and the UK’s first practical two gun (22 pistol/.22 Minirifle) Championship which starts on November 23rd, check out the options HERE.

In the meantime here are all the stages
