First round of the 2024/2025 Practical Winter League got off to a great start with 24 shooters in two classes competing over 6 stages at our Tactical Training Centre Ranges.

The championship is unique in the UK in that you can shoot as Minirifle, LBP Pistol or a combination of both as 2Gun our new championship, you can even compete in multiple classes so shoot the course of fire with your Minirifle then have a go with your LBP Pistol or as 2 gun, the choice is yours and each will entry will score fully.

We started of with simple stages for the first round, we had a couple of new shooters to the sport again so we want to make sure its welcoming but the more seasoned shooters all enjoyed the somewhat unique courses of fire we can host here with dynamic 360 cones of fire that our fully bunded ranges can cater for.

Lee Elliot was supreme in the Minirifle division closely pushed by Walkek who took the 2Gun division ahead of Rob Lawson.

Sorry about lack of photos, tried to shoot the comp and run it at the same time, never works so looks like I’m back to watching again but at least we get some video and pictures but here are the 6 stages albeit shot mainly with minirifle and gun camera views mainly.

Next round is Sat Dec 21st, remember you can enter as Minirifle, LBP Pistol or 2Gun or all three its a great way to enjoy the sport.
