The first round of our Practical Shooting Championship is almost here and whilst shooting is an individual sport we wanted to create a club championship to run alongside so we are today announcing the Silverstone Practical Shooting Club Championship which we believe is the first practical club championship for the UK.

To enter as a club all shooters need do is register via Practiscore for a club code and enter the match as usual, the scores of each shooter will be recorded as usual and then added to their teams scores for the club score.

  • Teams must be made up from members of the same club (not a corporate group or bunch of mates, they must all be members of the same club which will be verified by the club secretary)
  • Teams made up of three people
  • Each club can have multiple teams
  • Scores will be comprised by combining the scores of the individual members
  • Members can all enter the same class or different classes
  • Members can be in different divisions (senior, junior etc)

It short it means you just shoot the match as usual and have your score added to you team mates to create another competition.

This is also how the NRA rounds work, shooters dont need to do anything differently, any match you enter here will score for the Silverstone Championship AND (for selected rounds) the NRA MR or Pistol Championships, nothing changes for the match, you shoot and score as usual but it means your score will be recorded for both championships.

For example, if you made a team up and entered April 5th round, you would score for Silverstone Championship, the NRA Championship and your team championship from the same entry with nothing more to do; three championships for one entry.
